Arrival at Chapelco airport CPC and transfer to the lodge in Junin de los Andes. Welcome dinner and review of the fishing program.

How do you get to Bravo Sur?

You fly into San Martin de Los Andes (CPC for Chapelco) and transfer by road to the lodge in Junin de los Andes (just 30min away!). You are met on arrival and on departure, and all transportation to and from the fishing spots is included during your week.

When is the season, and how is the week structured?

December to April. You arrive on the first day for a welcome dinner and a review of the program, fish six full days on the Chimehuín, the Aluminé and the Collón Curá rivers, and transfer to the airport for departure on the last day.

Is Bravo Sur fly only?

Yes. Six full days, flyfishing only, for wild trout. Each evening your guide describes the next day's itinerary and the gear to bring, so nothing is improvised in the morning.

Is there any fishing pressure?

You will rarely see another angler. The rivers begin high in the vast Andes and wind down through the foothills to the valleys, and each one has its own character and its own difficulties.
